Born in Victoria, BC, in 1957, Stephen Shellenberger is a multidisciplinary artist, utilizing different mediums as a painter, filmmaker, actor, and playwright. Shellenberger's canvases consist of society's discarded materials which he renews by stitching them together. Shellenberger's environmentally conscious artwork has been exhibited extensively in the United States, in Canada and in Paris, France and are included in private collections throughout North America and Europe. Shellenberger now calls Montreal home.
