Born in Winnipeg in 1970, Bradley Harms has his MFA from the Chicago institute of Art. While appearing manufactured or digitally rendered, Harms’ abstracts are paintings meticulously rendered by hand. In February, 2007, he had his first solo exhibition in Toronto entitled Really New New paintings. He has been exhibited and profiled across North America and Europe, including solo shows in Calgary and Chicago. His work can be found in such international public collections as the Canada Council’s Artbank, Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Nickle Arts Museum, University of Western Sydney, Australia and Tama Art University, Japan.
